RookMotion just announced the start of their international expansion. What a year 2021 has been. Specially for the fitness industry, that has been navigating an almost-post-pandemic reality fearlessly. Specifically in the case of RookMotion, today it was announced that just starting December, they doubled their revenue from 2020.
This comes as no surprise after they successfully launched RookRemote, a platform where fitness coaches can monitor the performance of the participants of group classes remotely. This skyrocketed the total amount of users and the average weekly sessions for the brand to a whooping 30% growth month-over-month.

As a result, RookMotion managed to secure a new round of investment, which in the words of their CEO Marco Benítez, “will allow us to take the first step in our global expansion: the United States“. Of course, starting from there makes sense, since the US is the largest market for fitness solutions.
This comes hand-in-hand with their participation in the startup accelerator NewChip, which started back in Octobre, 2021. 2022 is going to be a big year for the brand, but in the words of CMO Jonas Dücker, “…the challenge is as big as our ambition, but we will be a global brand before you know it”.
