Applications are now open for Earnest’s $250,000 2021 Fall Scholarship giveaway. The innovative loan financing company is giving 50 eligible students $5,000 for education expenses. To date, Earnest has awarded $350,000 in scholarship funding to 60 recipients. The Fall 2021 Scholarship marks the company’s fourth round of scholarship distribution.

Founded on the principle that giving back is an integral part of doing business, for every student loan Earnest refinances, a percentage of the earnings are funneled toward the scholarship program.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents enrolled in a registered Title IV university for the fall of 2021 to qualify. Applications are open to both undergraduate and graduate students. With no GPA minimum or essay requirement, the scholarship is open to all students looking for support in paying for their education.

Funds can be used to pay for educational expenses including application fees, course credit hour fees, books, computers, and school-related supplies, and will be deposited directly into the winners’ student account at the institution they are enrolled at. Winners will be selected through a random drawing in July of 2021 and are then subject to eligibility verification, including confirmation of university enrollment status.

The deadline for submission is June 30, 2021.
